More information about Open Studios is available at

My work is also on display in the lounge at the newly revamped Eagle House Hotel in Launceston, Cornwall.

The colour, light, and forms of landscapes and buildings are my inspiration. I usually have a sketchbook to hand, with pens and small box of watercolours, particularly when I'm travelling.
I draw in the studio with ink, graphite and charcoal, or paint in acrylic or watercolour. I also experiment with printmaking and ceramics.

I grew up in Liverpool and trained as an Architect at Bath University in the 70s. After qualifying I worked in London for two fun packed but hard working years. I then found myself moving overseas with my husband and his work. I practiced as an Architect in Cairo and Oman. After having three children abroad I was out of touch with the architectural world, but loved drawing and painting, and having exhibitions. Moving on to the Far East, Oman again, Syria, and lastly the Netherlands, we then returned to live in UK. I studied for two years on a Drawing and Applied Art degree course at UWE in Bristol, but made the decision to abandon academia to get on with my own work in Devon.

I have exhibited in Muscat, Brunei, Damascus, The Hague, Devon and Cornwall. I can honestly say that my work is hanging on walls worldwide!

My two daughters are both now Architects, and my son is studying architecture, so all was not lost going overseas!!

I hope you enjoy browsing my paintings and drawings. Please use the Contact section if you have any questions on prices, availability etc
